TechWin Camera Multi Viewer
TechWin Camera Multi Viewer is a real-time camera viewing solution designed to operate as a manual failback system across independent monitoring stations. It enables operators to instantly access multiple live camera feeds whenever the primary VMS is unavailable.
TechWin SystemsCamera Multi Viewer is a Windows application developed by TechWin for simultaneous real-time viewing of multiple camera feeds, designed specifically as a manual failback system — meaning it is operator-launched whenever the primary VMS is unavailable.
Each monitoring station runs a local, independent instance of Multi Viewer, with no connection or data sharing between stations. This decentralized architecture ensures each post monitors only its own local cameras, making the system resilient and straightforward to operate even under failure conditions.
The interface organizes feeds into a 6×6 grid, allowing up to 36 cameras per window. With support for two simultaneous windows, operators can monitor up to 64 live feeds at once, with no additional configuration required at the moment of failure.
The "Views" system allows operators to save and load named, pre-configured layouts — such as "Patrol" or "Full Site" — speeding up response time and eliminating the need to manually reconfigure feeds on every activation.
Activation is entirely manual: the operator launches the application via a desktop shortcut or the Start menu, ensuring full control over when and how failback is initiated. There is no automatic switching mechanism of any kind.
Multi Viewer operates in live view mode only, with no local recording, using standard RTSP / ONVIF protocols with support for H.264 and H.265, compatible with the vast majority of IP camera systems available on the market.
