TechWin Argus Access

TechWin Argus Access is an autonomous web platform developed by TechWin Systems for the complete management of vehicle access in private areas, based on automatic licence plate recognition as the identification token. Designed for facilities with high volumes of vehicle movement — such as logistics parks, industrial zones, private condominiums, and corporate campuses — the platform provides full control over who enters, when they enter, and through which access point, without relying on any external access control system.

The core concept of TechWin Systems LPR is built on the plate as a token principle: the vehicle's licence plate is the sole identification element required to trigger the opening of a barrier or gate. No cards, transponders, or any other physical device are required from the driver — the system reads, validates, and acts entirely automatically, in real time.

Communication with field hardware — licence plate reading cameras, barriers, gates, and other peripherals — is handled through TechWin Systems gateways, developed specifically for this platform. This architecture eliminates the need for integration with third-party systems, making TechWin Systems LPR a fully autonomous, self-contained solution with lower deployment complexity, greater operational reliability, and complete independence from external licensing.

The platform was built with native multi-tenant support, allowing a single installation to be shared by multiple companies or operators with completely independent management — ideal for logistics parks with multiple operators, shared distribution centres, or free-trade zones with different concessionaires. Each tenant manages its own list of authorised vehicles, access schedules, and reports, with no visibility into other tenants' data.

Access management includes the definition of authorised vehicle lists, with configurable validity periods, permitted time windows, and access zones per licence plate. The system logs every passage — authorised and denied — with a timestamp, captured licence plate image, and access point identification, building a complete audit trail of all vehicle movement within the facility.

The operational dashboard displays in real time the status of each access point, the latest entry and exit events, and alerts for unauthorised access attempts, enabling an immediate response from operators. The responsive design ensures access to the platform from any device, including tablets and smartphones used at gatehouse stations.
